Growth and investment
FVC has seen a phenomenal double digit revenue growths year on year since its inception. In the past year (2007 over 2006), the company expanded its manpower in the region by 55 percent. It has further enhanced its security and networking portfolio to provide a complete range of solutions to its partners.
In 2007, FVC also invested in training centres in Dubai (UAE), Riyadh (KSA), Cairo (Egypt) and Beirut (Lebanon), dedicated to providing special training and certification on behalf of all their vendors. 2007 also saw the opening of FVC’s office in Casablanca to cover the North African markets and provide on-site support to its local partners for all its vendors.
Support Services
Usually a service provided by vendors, FVC is probably one of select few VADs to provide a dedicated channel portal for its partners across the region, providing access to a wide range of services from brochures and special offers tailor-made to the partner’s requirements to technical, pre- and post-sales support especially for large projects. FVC also offers ongoing channel initiative programs to its network of partners, filtering down to its sales engineers.
FVC’s dedicated marketing department also helps its partners participate in local trade shows, conferences and other marketing activities including lead generation programs for its partners. In addition to its normal pre- and post-sales support, FVC also offer its partners, and their customers, project consultancy to match the needs of the end-customer.

FVC specialises in enterprise level solutions and these have been sold into the oil and gas, education, corporate, government, financial and healthcare sectors.
As one of the leading VADs in the region to introduce video-conferencing through a structured distribution model in the region, FVC was the first to introduce these solutions in the education sector from Georgetown University in Qatar to Higher Colleges of Technology in UAE. As the regional distributor for Polycom, it was also the first to introduce immersive Telepresence with its first project with the new RPX solution installed in Georgetown University in Qatar.

Awards and recognition
In addition to being recognised by Channel Middle East as one of the top 5 VADs in the region in its 2008 Power List, and being listed in ACN's Top 50 IT Companies in the Middle East at Gitex 2007, FVC was also short-listed in the “Best Value Added Distributor” category of the inaugural Channel Middle East Awards.
FVC has also received recognition from its vendors. As its second largest distributor in the EMEA region, TippingPoint recognised FVC’s contribution with the award for the “Fastest Growing Distributor in EMEA”. Packeteer too recognised FVC as the “Fastest Growing Distributor in EMEA” for 2007, making it one of the top three EMEA level distributor for the vendor. FVC won the “Outstanding Growth in 2007” award from Polycom, raising its profile to its third largest distributor in EMEA.
In addition to receiving its own recognition, one of FVC’s projects in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) won two awards. DiGiNet, one of the leading ISPs in KSA, won the “Best Telecommunications Sector Implementation of the Year” award at ITP’s ACN Arab Technology Awards 2007. The project based on the implementation of Packeteer’s PacketShaper 10000 bandwidth management solution was also voted the “Perfect Project Award for Best Client ROI/TCO” during the Secure Enterprise Summit (SES) held in Fujairah in November 2007.
