FVC embarks on partner recruitment drive in Africa with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise
Roadshow will expand enterprise channel network in East & West Africa
FVC, a leading Value Added Distributor (VAD) in the Middle East & Africa (MEA), hosted a partner recruitment roadshow with ALE, operating under the brand Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, in four countries in Africa. The roadshow began in Kenya & Tanzania in November, Nigeria in December with the final one scheduled to be hosted in Ethiopia in the last week of December 2015. FVC hopes to sign agreements with additional authorized channel partners for ALE’s range of products in all four countries.
K.S. Parag, Managing Director for FVC said, “Africa shows a lot of promise and is an exciting market for us and we are very pleased with the interest and response to our roadshow in all four countries. We are hoping that the new partnerships will kick start our ambitious growth plans for our partners across the continent in 2016.”
With more than 25 specialist partners attending each of the events, the events showcased the latest technology offerings from ALE. FVC and ALE teams also used the opportunity to highlight partner benefits and revenue opportunities across key vertical sectors.
Marco Pasculli, VP for Channel Sales & Strategy, SEMEA, at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, said, “FVC’s large regional mandate, distribution expertise and reseller breadth facilitated the workshops where we presented the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise value proposition and benefits to potential partners. We are excited at the quality of attendees and post-event engagement which clearly indicates the growth potential in Africa.”
Following the roadshow, FVC will be hosting partner enablement sessions for the sales and support teams of the selected partners in each of these countries.
